By The Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) administration has suspended all academic activities until February 28, following a Syndicate meeting. However, students have rejected this decision and announced a boycott of the Vice-Chancellor (VC), Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Pro-VC), and the Director of Student Welfare.In a press briefing on February 19, students stated that while five of their six demands were partially accepted, they were not fully implemented. Frustrated by repeated failures to achieve their demands, they declared these three administrative positions vacant.Additionally, the students have decided to submit a formal request to the Chief Advisor for new appointments to these positions. They also announced their decision to stay in the campus dormitories despite the administration’s suspension of academic activities.
