By The Energy and Mineral Resources Division has announced that fuel prices in Bangladesh will remain unchanged in March. Diesel and kerosene will continue to be priced at BDT 105 per liter, octane at BDT 126, and petrol at BDT 122, maintaining the rates set in February. The government aims to ensure fuel supply at affordable prices. Since March 2023, Bangladesh has been adjusting fuel prices monthly based on global market trends. The Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) primarily profits from octane and petrol sales, while its financial balance depends on diesel pricing, which accounts for 75% of the country’s fuel consumption.
