By The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to kick off in just two days, with the opening match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Before the match, a grand opening ceremony will take place featuring numerous Bollywood stars and sports legends. Shah Rukh Khan will attend in support of his team KKR, while Salman Khan will promote his upcoming movie Sikandar. Stars like Priyanka Chopra, Vicky Kaushal, Sanjay Dutt, Katrina Kaif, Ananya Panday, and others are also expected. The event will showcase performances by singers Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, and actors like Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Disha Patani. The American pop band OneRepublic will perform alongside Indian artists. A total of 74 matches will be played over 65 days across 13 venues.
