By A tourist submarine named ‘Sindbad’ sank off the coast of Egypt, resulting in the deaths of at least six people. The vessel was carrying 44 passengers on a tour in the Red Sea when it encountered an accident near Hurghada, about one kilometer from the shore. Rescue teams managed to save 29 people.The Russian embassy in Cairo confirmed that four of the deceased were Russian citizens. Following the incident, the Red Sea Security Directorate received reports of the disaster, prompting an emergency response. The Red Sea Health Directorate and Egyptian Ambulance Authority deployed 21 ambulances to the scene, transferring the injured to Al-Kawthar and other local hospitals. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
