By A treason case has been filed against former Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, along with 73 others, including Dr. Rabbi Alam, Vice President of the US Awami League. Additionally, 503 participants of an online meeting have also been implicated.According to the complaint, on December 19, an online meeting was held where the formation of the “Joy Bangla Brigade” was discussed, with the alleged goal of reinstating Sheikh Hasina as Prime Minister through civil war. The conversation reportedly included statements about resisting the current government and ensuring Hasina’s return to power. Based on intelligence reports and recorded discussions, authorities deemed the meeting a conspiracy against the state. Following approval from the Home Ministry, a Dhaka court took up the case and directed the CID to investigate.
