By Shakib Khan’s highly anticipated film Borbaad has set a new benchmark for Eid releases, securing the highest booking fee among Dhallywood films. With around 100 cinema halls already confirmed, the number may increase before the final release.Producer Shahrin Akter Sumi stated that tiered booking fees have been set based on hall size, with larger cinemas paying Tk 13 to 15 lakh. The film’s budget stands at Tk 15 crore, and while reports suggest that a significant portion has been recovered through bookings, the producer dismissed claims of reaching 50% of the investment. Directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, Borbaad stars Shakib Khan alongside Kolkata actress Idhika Paul.
