Former U.S. President Donald Trump has introduced a new “Gold Card” visa program, offering permanent residency in the United States for a fee of $5 million. The announcement was made on April 4 aboard Air Force One, according to AFP. The visa features Trump’s face and is labeled “The Trump Card.” Trump described it as a high-value alternative to the traditional Green Card, aiming to generate jobs and reduce the national deficit. He humorously claimed to be the program’s first buyer. Trump also hinted that the card could be available in less than two weeks. The initiative targets wealthy foreigners, and Trump hasn’t ruled out eligibility for Russian billionaires. His administration aims to sell up to one million of these visas.
