In the video, Ashraful, wearing a white shirt, is seen demanding money for parking and arguing with the car’s occupants. When questioned about his behavior, he casually responds, “Yes, I am doing it. Any problem?” Police acted swiftly after the video spread on Facebook. Ashraful, a resident of Hazaribagh with roots in Chandraganj, Lakshmipur, was detained by Dhanmondi police. Authorities confirmed legal actions are underway. The video drew widespread criticism and highlighted concerns over illegal extortion in public areas.
