By The body of a 6-month-old girl named Seherish was recovered 14 hours after she went missing when a battery-run auto-rickshaw overturned into the Chaktai canal in Chattogram’s Kapasgola area. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM on Friday when the vehicle, carrying the infant, her mother, and another woman, lost control and fell into the canal. While the adults managed to escape, the child was swept away by strong currents caused by rainfall. On Saturday morning at 10:10 AM, her body was found floating in the canal and was retrieved with the help of local residents. The Fire Service and Civil Defence confirmed the recovery.
