By Two students were injured in a violent clash between Dhaka College and City College students and were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday afternoon. The injured have been identified as Nazmun Sakib (18) and Mohammad Siam (17), both suffering head injuries, according to DMCH police camp in-charge Inspector Faruk. The incident occurred around noon after groups from both colleges gathered near the Science Laboratory footbridge and Teachers Training College area. Eyewitnesses reported stone-throwing and attacks with sticks from both sides. Police intervened using batons and tear gas to disperse the students. The exact cause of the clash remains unclear, but initial assumptions suggest it may have stemmed from prior tensions between the groups.
