Neymar’s much-anticipated return to the Brazil national team has been delayed yet again as he suffers another injury. The star forward was excluded from the squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina, with Real Madrid’s young talent Endrick replacing him. Neymar, who had previously been sidelined due to an injury in October 2023, recently regained form at Santos. However, he sustained another injury during a match on March 2. Brazil’s coach, Dorival Júnior, also confirmed other squad changes due to injuries. Brazil will face Colombia on March 21 and Argentina on March 26 in the qualifiers.
