By Khan Talat Mahmud Rafi, a key coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Chattogram, confirmed his marriage through a Facebook post on Monday after Iftar. While he initially did not disclose his bride’s identity, he later updated his relationship status, linking to the profile of Jannatul Ferdous. Reports revealed that Jannatul, daughter of school teachers from Barguna’s Burirchar Union, married Rafi with both families’ consent. Their connection stemmed from Rafi’s sister and Jannatul’s shared coaching experience in Dhaka. The wedding took place at Rafi’s sister’s residence near Mohammadpur Central Mosque in Dhaka. However, the date for further wedding celebrations remains undecided, according to Jannatul’s father.
