By Thousands of people began gathering at Dhaka’s Suhrawardy Udyan on Saturday morning to join the ‘March for Gaza’ rally, demanding an end to Israel’s ongoing military actions in Gaza. Although the main event was scheduled to start at 3 PM, crowds began arriving from early morning through all gates of the venue. The demonstration aims to protest what organizers call the “Israeli genocide” in Gaza and to show global solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. This event is part of a worldwide movement calling for justice and peace in Gaza, amid increasing international concern over the humanitarian crisis and the mounting death toll caused by continuous Israeli strikes in the region.
