By The Champions Trophy kicks off with a thrilling clash between Bangladesh and India, two powerhouses of the cricketing world. India, fresh from a dominant white-ball run against England, enter the tournament as strong contenders despite missing their star pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Bangladesh, on the other hand, haven’t played since December but will take inspiration from their 2007 World Cup triumph over India. Both teams boast strong spin attacks, which could be decisive in UAE conditions. All-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz will be crucial for Bangladesh, given his recent performances. With history, form, and pride at stake, the stage is set for an intense showdown.
