His resignation has sparked discussions, prompting a response from Interim Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.Farooki, while expressing admiration for Jamil Ahmed’s theatrical contributions, hinted at deeper issues behind the resignation. In a social media post on March 1, he suggested that some of Jamil’s statements were not entirely truthful and stemmed from frustration over handling administrative challenges. Farooki promised a detailed response later, which he believes might leave Jamil feeling uncomfortable. Despite the controversy, he extended his best wishes to Jamil and expressed willingness to support his creative endeavors in the future.
