Lailatul Qadr, the Night of Decree, holds immense significance for Muslims, as it is considered more virtuous than a thousand months. On this sacred night, the Holy Quran was revealed, and believers seek Allah’s mercy and blessings through prayers, Quran recitation, and supplications.Across the country, mosques, including the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram, are hosting religious gatherings, sermons, and special prayers throughout the night. According to Islamic teachings, this night brings divine mercy, forgiveness, and blessings. The Quran states that on Lailatul Qadr, angels descend by Allah’s command, bringing peace until dawn (Surah Al-Qadr 3-5). The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also affirmed that those who worship on this night with sincere faith will have their past sins forgiven (Sahih Bukhari 2014).
