By Today, Thursday, marks the last regular banking day before a nine-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr. Banks will remain closed from Friday, reopening on Sunday, April 6. However, on March 28 (Friday) and March 29 (Saturday), select bank branches in garment industry areas—including Dhaka, Ashulia, Tongi, Gazipur, Savar, Narayanganj, and Chattogram—will operate for limited hours. Despite high demand for cash withdrawals, loan disbursements, and remittance exchanges, banks have taken measures to ensure liquidity, supported by the central bank. ATM booths, online, and mobile banking services will remain operational throughout the holiday. On April 6, banks will resume regular operations from 10 AM to 4 PM.
